What does “balance” mean to you? Do you strive to create a sense of balance in your life? How’s that working for you?

As a body/mind/spirit integrative coach, this is an area I often focus on with my clients. It’s also one I personally dance with achieving. “Balance” doesn’t necessarily mean equal proportions … and it’s helpful to identify exactly what areas you wish to balance. For some, it’s juggling time for what’s needed at work and at home, and for others, it’s the fine line between autonomy and connection, “alone time” and family/friend pursuits.
For many, it’s a stretch to schedule in contemplative breaks to go deeply within and attend to their own inner needs. Unless you have a regular meditation practice, this may be a precious thread that falls off the ever-expanding to-do list. Yet, if you carve out the time for being present to yourself and seeing what is craving expression, that self-care will positively season everything else. Your unique self wants to be seen and heard – and given the attention she needs. May you create the perfect and right balance for you.

Draw in the things that feed your soul. Your other endeavors will be the richer for it.

Shamanic Journey & Drum Circle Saturday, October 20th, 12:00-2:30pm

The fine art of shamanic journey has come through many indigenous traditions as a tool to access the spirit world for guidance. Donna DeNomme, trained through several sacred lineages, will lead us in traditional shamanic journeys to connect with your spirit helpers and bring back messages meant to assist you at this time.

Percussionist Wynn Chaney will provide the comforting and necessary drumbeat to take you deeply on this journey within… then she will weave it all together with an engaging drum circle, so bring a drum or rattle if you have one. If not, no worries. We’ll have extra rattles you can use. Also consider bringing a pillow, a blanket, and a journal or notebook for recording messages.

No journey or drumming experience necessary; everything will be skillfully led. Questions? Call Donna at 303-271-0510
