Filled with gratitude for the women (and men) who rallied for the right to vote often at great personal peril…  when I’m trying to squeeze the time into my busy schedule to review the issues, fill out and turn in my ballot, I try to remember that it was not too long ago that my voice would not have been heard.

On this our Election Day, my thoughts and prayers this morning are with gratitude for the opportunity to Vote . . . .
And holding the entire country with the idea that regardless of party lines, the pros and the cons of issues on the ballet, the myriad of perspectives, and the motivations that divide us, at core, we are One Nation.

I have to believe that we ALL truly want the best for this great country.
So as the polls prepare to open, I send out my best thoughts for blessings this day.

That all who wish to exercise their right to vote find a way to have their voices heard. That we make the right choices for the best and the highest for all Americans. That the children be protected and given a good education, that those in need be given a hand up, and that hard-working folk are able to enjoy a good quality of life. That our freedoms are safeguarded. That those elected take office with the best of intentions and purposeful action in alignment with their campaign promises.

May each and every one of us be held with great respect and appreciation this day. And may this election be held in the highest regard. . . so goodness can ripple forward. And Connection and true integrity prevail.
Blessed be.
